ITALIAN SAUSAGE ONE DISH CASSEROLE
This casserole goes way back. I have altered it a little. from HELEN'S PANTRY

Steps:
- Cook sausage in a skillet until brown.
- Cook zucchini, green pepper, onion, and garlic in oil from sausage for 10 minutes. Put in 1/2 cup parmesan cheese rice and mix well
- Put all ingredients in a casserole dish cover and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The last 15 minutes top with the other 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and return to oven.
- Serves 6-8

Steps:
- Brown sausage in saute pan, then place in 9x13 baking dish.
- Place potatoes, peppers, onion and garlic on top of sausage.
- Pour crushed tomatoes over and sprinkle with basil, salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until done.
- Remove cover and bake 20 minutes more.
