MAGIC FRENCH FUDGE

This is the easiest chocolate fudge recipe and it's even easier to eat:) Made this for my French class in high school when we had to bring in a french dish and everyone already had crepes and chicken francese lol!

Magic French Fudge image

Steps:

  • In a double-boiler melt chocolate.
  • Remove from heat and add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt, and nuts. Stir until smooth.
  • Turn into wax paper lined 8 inch square pan and chill in fridge.
  • Store in cool place in an airtight container.

18 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mary's Magic French Fudge image

Steps:

  • 1. In double boiler melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat, add milk, vanilla, salt and nuts and stir until smooth. Turn onto wax paper lined 8x8. Chill, cut and stor in an airtight container.

Magic French Fudge image

Steps:

  • Combine Eagle Brand and chocolates in top of double boiler. Cook over fast-boiling water 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Add vanilla, salt, and nut meats. Beat until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes).
  • Spread in buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill several hours. Cut into squares.

2 package s (6 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 square (1-oz.) unsweetened chocolate

Smooth and rich. Microwave recipe. Note: If you can't find super-fine sugar, process regular granulated sugar in the food processor until very fine.

French Silk Fudge image

Steps:

  • Butter an 8-by-11-inch baking pan and set aside.
  • In a 2-quart glass bowl, mix the sugar and the evaporated milk.
  • Microwave on high, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the microwave oven and stir.
  • Microwave an additional 2 minutes, watching closely so that the mixture doesn't boil over.
  • Meanwhile, cut the butter into four pieces and set aside.
  • Remove the sugar mixture from the microwave and stir in the butter and marshmallows until both are melted.
  • Add the chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts, and mix well.
  • Spread into the buttered pan and chill for at least an hour, or until firm.
  • Cut into small (1-inch) squares and store in tins or plastic storage bags in the refrigerator for up to five days.

Marian's Fudge image

Steps:

  • Butter a 9x9 inch dish.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine chocolate, butter and milk. Bring to a boil and let boil 1 minute. Stir in sugar and salt until dissolved. Heat, stirring constantly, to between 234 and 240 degrees F (112 to 116 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from the water and placed on a flat surface. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Let cool 10 minutes.
  • Beat fudge with a spoon until it loses its gloss. Pour quickly into the buttered dish. Refrigerate 30 minutes, until firm.
